A: Upon meeting all graduation and degree requirements, students will be awarded a PhD degree from Tsinghua University.

A: The program uses a rotation system, allowing students to explore different labs before selecting a final advisor.

A: The program currently offers access to over 70 laboratories. Research areas include Biophysics and Structural Biology, Biotechnology and Therapeutics, Disease Diagnosis and Therapy, Cell Biology, Chemical Biology, Computational Biology and Bioinformatics, Immunology and Microbiology, Metabolism, Molecular Biology, and Neurobiology.
Q: What scholarships and financial support are available?
A: Students are encouraged to apply for the Chinese Government Scholarship. In addition, the program offers fully funded scholarships, as well as other university, school, and program-level funding opportunities and merit-based awards.
Q: Is Chinese language proficiency required?
A: No. All courses and academic advising are conducted in English. Chinese language proficiency is not a requirement. However, students who pass the HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) may qualify for the Chinese Government Scholarship.
